Ziddi....Hum Bhi Yahaan!

khalbali hai khalbali..khalbali hai khalbali..
khalbali hai khalbali.. hai khalbali..

shola shola balkhaye...dariya dariya lehraye..
zarra zarra tharraye..hai khalbali...
khalbali hai khalbali..khalbali hai khalbali..
khalbali hai khalbali.. hai khalbali..
Ziddi...ziddi ziddi..hai toofaan...
Ziddi..Hum bhi yahaan!

hone hone de nasha.. khone khone ko hai kya..
ek saans mein pee jaa.. zara zindagi chadaa..
hai yeh toh ek jashan.. tu thirakne de kadam..
abhi saanson mein hai dum.. abhi chalne de sitam..
aankhon mein hai khalbali..dhadkanon mein khalbali..
mausamo mein khalbali..hai khalbali..
kaisi yeh tabdili hai..sheeshi botal pee li hai..
raat neeli neeli hai..hai khalbali..
hum lapatke saaye hai..hum sulagne aaye hai..
ghar bataa ke aaye hai..hai khalbali..
khalbali hai khalbali..khalbali hai khalbali..
khalbali hai khalbali.. hai khalbali..

Ziddi..Hum bhi yahaan!

It is highly encouraging to see ppl like us even from tech and commerce backgrounds participating in the protest.

If there is one thing that we can learn from Gandhi, it is passive resistance through non-cooperation. Such a powerful tool! Here, it made them commit the dangerous mistake of lathi-charge on innocent civilians.

This is not the same British-India where humans didnt exist-- only slaves.

I only hope that when it is my turn to raise my voice, I dont back down.

Right on.

Did you play your part?
Of course, on the blog, you did!

Reservation...India, as always is takinga step backwards!! at least the student community understands and are vociferous enough to get themselves noticed.am really ashamed that i am doing nothing more than sitting back and verbally thrashing the government!! i wish i could break a few bones myself!!

:) RDB came out at the right time, didn't it? i am glad people are waking up :)

but somehow i feel ppl lose it when they resort to violence...was RDB nt aiming at non-violence...is it not what gandhiji has also told us all life long? have to think of a way to pretest which is innovative and effective with no violence..
i think using a stick is not always very fruitful and shows immatured mentality

Sticking to Gandhi's principle has its own faults. Thinking that people will realize is a futile effort at thinking. Maybe something drastic is necessary to achieve something and make people situp and notice. Frankly I would advocate a vociferous and fierce protest at the ministry and not on the roads.

I can so relate to this & apply this in everyday life. "Ziddi ziddi ziddi... Toofan...ziddi hun bhi yahan". Passive resistance can be so powerful and life changing. Never give up!!
