And Then

Thoughts Began To Fly

Potrait of an Orphan

Published by Aakarsh under on Tuesday, December 27, 2005
An orphaned tsunami survivor cries as she pays homage to the tsunami victims in Nagapattinam on Monday.

One Family...
for her.
And one wave...
of Water...
It came,
Ruining it..
Leaving only ruins...
of their images...
amassed as Tears...
for her.
what sin did she commit,
she herself doesnt know.
A wave of memories...
washed ashore,
in the sea of one tear-drop.
on her cheek.
One Orphan...

This is haunting. Let's hope and pray that those looks regain their innocent brightness! And those cheeks don't see any tears at all!!

we see all, understand all but what difference does it make to those lives who are already suffering for reasons unknown..fate.. i agree but kids?? innocent faces of God..
God is this how you greet your children?
makes me aetheist and also makes me wonder ..what good am i if i cannot help those who nee it the most?
i crib what ihave is not good enough; i guess that is a lie when i see the sadness i their eyes.

thank you aakarsh for making me realise how little i do

The other day even I saw the same in The TOI..but then v can do nothin except talking and thinking abt the evils of nature..v cant blame GOD also, may b coz its said that: "whatever he does, he does for the good" probly this crisis taught a lot to many ppl around the world a no. of lessons. i learnt that "Life is too short, so never cry for anything, whether u have it or not" and everything happens for a reason..good work Aakarsh!!!

nice gesture aakarsh...the lesser said,the better...its like ripping off a handiplast band-aid from a still-fresh bruise...as painful...just as regretful...

True! After seeing the Tragedy & images like these, its only questions which are left.I was particularily intrigued by the Photograph..Those eyes...I could see anger+Innocence+pain there.as Ragz said, it really made me question Faith.
